Graduation Speech

Hello parents, staff and students. Thank you for being with us today as we graduate and take a step forward. Today we are graduating from the greatest school ever. The very first step it took to be here today was when our parents held our hands as we walked into elementary school for the first time. We had the chance to have caterpillars in our class, throughout the year we turned into butterflies. We flew into first grade. This was the grade everyone got to go to the aquarium, we saw stingrays and clown fish. Not only that but we had our first ABC countdown. We fluttered our wings into second grade when some of us started reading our first chapter books. In third grade we were the ones who started reading to our reading buddies. Sadly, our days at Hynes were ending. Who could forget fourth grade? We were the leaders of the school. We read frindle. Then we performed Little Red Riding Hood for the first graders. As we end our time at Hynes we start out again at a new school, Golf. Every

Endings and Beginnings

The beginning of summer is the best time. All the pools ope up, you have no homework and you can be out all day. Summer is my favorite season. I can't wait for summer to start. I'll be going to Six Flags and Florida this summer. I can visit the ocean and go scuba diving. I'll be at universal studios and have ice cream for dinner. Who doesn't love summer? Every once in a while you get those rainy days and can stay inside and watch all of you favorite shows for example Baby Daddy, Young and Hungry, Jane the Virgin or Hannah Montana. The beginning of summer is the best time, you forgot how it was when you were in school and now it all comes back when your out of school. See ya next time on I'm that girl!

'Tis the Season to Treat Yourself to Your Favorite Foods.

Hey guys! Welcome back. Today I'm talking about FOOD. I know so exciting Everyone loves food. Almost every favorite memory I have has involved food. When I went to the John Hancock building it involved steak and cake. After a dance when my friends and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings it involved food. I have two favorite meals in the whole entire world. The first one is cheese curds and frickles(fried pickles)with chicken tenders and fries. For dessert I would want chocolate molten lava cake. Chocolate molten lava cake is the best. I would also be fine with a butter cream or whipped cream frosted cake. I also have another dish that I love. For the appetizers there would be calamari with cocktail sauce. Then I would have a salad with ranch and no tomatoes. For the main course I would have steak with the least amount of fat possible. On the side of that steak there would be mashed potatoes and fries. For dessert I would have red velvet cake with vanilla frosting(I hate cream cheese

'Tis the Season to Ban State Testing

As you all know most people hate tests. The worst tests are the state tests. This year was the last year of taking PARCC not only for me but for the rest of the state of Illinois, they're coming up with a new test and it sucks. State testing is bad enough and now they've got a new one. First there was ISAT then there's was PARCC and now who knows what it's going to be. You don't even have to take state testing. You're parents can sign a piece of paper and BOOM!  your out of taking the most boring test in the world. You shouldn't have to read boring stories and then write an essay about it. We already write essays in school. And with math, our whole entire grade is based on how well we do on math tests. It's not just about the students, what about the people who have to grade over 1,000 tests? They don't get very much money. They offer it to anyone, what if someone just wants some money and doesn't even pay very good attention. Someone who get

A quote from Daniel's Story is "We must live, and when this is all over, we must work to make the world a better place. And if we die, we will die knowing that it is not our fault, that we did our best, and we can go to our deaths in dignity...I want you both to live... And to remember... You must choose love. Always choose love." page 70. Rosa is saying this quote because Daniel is scared of leaving the love of his life. With this quote he was able to because he remembered that after this terrible time is all over he'll die with love and dignity. The end of this reminds me of people with divorced parents. Dear Diary

February 25, 2018 Dear Diary, Our road trip went terrible... at first but then it got better. We had no idea where we were going. We were suppose to go to New York and ended up in a small town in Florida called,  Sopchoppy. We couldn't find a gas station and had to pull over the side of the road to pee and stretch. Our GPS was telling us direction but was broken and giving us the wrong directions. We ended up in this town Sopchoppy, which luckily, wasn't that far away from Disney World in Orlando. We went to go check it out. My siblings and parents and I were so excited. We didn't even have to pay because Daisy Duck was giving out free passes for a week to visit Disney World.  We got to go in for free. We went on a bunch of rides and met all of the people in Toy Story and even more. I met Peyton List from Jessie which was really cool, especially because it used to be my favorite show. This day was so awesome I'm so happy the GPS gave us the wrong directions.

‘Tis the season to watch Baby Daddy

Hey guys! Welcome back. Hope your weekend was great! Today I’m going to talk about one of the best shows ever. Baby Daddy. This is my second favorite show after friends. It’s so funny. This guy, Ben, gets a girl pregnant and the baby is dropped off at his doorstep. His brother, roommate, mom, and brother’s best friend help him out. It’s so funny. Once he duct-taped his baby to his baby’s diaper to her. His brother, Danny, eats baby food and his roommate, Tucker, can dance and does most of the cleaning. The mom, Bonnie, is obsessed with Bon Jovi and his brother’s best friend, Riley, is a lawyer to get all of them out of trouble. It’s on Netflix. They ended it last year. I love this show so much and it’s interesting from the first 5 minutes. If you don’t like it I don’t know what to tell you, but you will because it’s the best. See ya next time on I’m that girl!
