This is why people shouldn't use phones in class
This wasn't my choice. I knew we were going to get in trouble. There was no way we were going to get away with this. Obviously we weren't going to make it to the end of class without getting caught.
Well we did get caught. Now the police are after us. We would only be put on probation, jail time and probably on the news. Not only is it humiliating, it's going to go on my record. Anyone can see, like teachers. Which sucks because I'm not a bad student and I think my teachers love me. But now they're going to hate me. How could a teacher love you when you've dealt WITH THE POLICE? It's just not possible.
Anyways let me rewind. We were in Spanish class and there was a substitute, our teacher was in meetings. People were talking. It was very loud. This guy Rick wasn't at school, he was sick. There's this cool app called house party, you can face time a bunch of people at once. The worst part is fifteen people were put into an I'm bored group chat. Two kids would spam it 24/7. My friend Lish answered the call.
After she answered, her and the kid started talking. I got on the phone with him and said hi, whats up. Then Natan, Allen and Timothy showed up. Then I started getting worried. I totally had the right to. I thought things couldn't get any worse, I was just worried. I thought wrong.
Mrs. Joy, who is part-time teacher and part-time cop caught Timothy. She took his phone and looked who was on it. It was Lish. Allen, Natan and me. Unfortunately she was in uniform. You know what that meant. Handcuffs. Her master plan was to have Timothy keep talking while she went into our class. He saved us by saying, RUN, RUN. That's code for the teacher found out. The bad thing was two weeks before this happened they changed the law of using phones in school. It used to be detention and changed to probation and jail time, may vary. We ran out of the building.
Mrs. Joy got on her walkie talkie and said, I'm not sure what but it sounded like code pink. We were off house party and on the run. We ran across the soccer field into someone's backyard. We started hearing sirens. Squad cars surrounded the town. They got Rick and Timothy, but I'm not sure if they got jail time or probation. They couldn't find us. The dogs were out because of it. Natan, Lish, Allen and me didn't get caught. I ran out of the backyard. I was caught and never told the police where they hid. I served two hour probation, no jail time though because it wasn't my phone. I was back with my family and my teachers still loved me. Lish, Natan and Allen were never to be found and was never seen again.

See ya next time on I'm that girl.
